"I understand perfectly his point. I also understand perfectly Arafat's point: he cannot go back to his people with only 95% of the pre-67 West Bank or only 98% or even only 99%. After all the suffering, he cannot get less than what Egypt got. He must have 100%. Including East Jerusalem. And he must have a face saving solution for those displaced in the 1948 wars, which IMO can be monetary compensation that can be used to rebuild the West Bank. That, I think, is the price for lasting peace between Israel and the Arabs.

When was the last time you got everything you wanted in a negotiation? What you're saying is that there is nothing to negotiate -- it's all or nothing meaning it's everything or war.
