What you are not understanding about this thread, is that it is sort of a layman's legal thread. No one on the thread cares much about rumor, innuendo, good intentions, promises, objective reasoning about attorneys and so on.
The thread is about quoting from highly credible sources, such as (but not limited to) newspapers like the Wall Street Journal or The New York Times, court filings (the actual filings and dockets, not "he said, she said" rumors or company press releases), credible news organizations like Bloomberg and so on.
Anyone can draft a legal document to impress someone else. However, on this thread, we don't care about it until after it has been filed with the courts, and become a part of the public record.
So, you can see why Jeff is a bit skeptical of what you wrote. He, like me and everyone else, goes by what is a part of the public record, not by what is intended or by what may happen.
