If word gets out that Switzerland has no gold, none, not a single scrap, not an ounce, farthing, nickle or centavos worth, would that affect the spot price of gold ? The Swiss always talk about how much gold they have but nobody has actually verified it for a long time, the gnomes would never allow that. I am thinking it is all pyrite, cleverly substituted by the Swiss when no one was looking. They have taken the gold, the real money and spent it on chocolate and nice houses.
The cheese thing is just an example, it is made in France and sold on the blackmarket to the Swiss who export it to the world as Swiss Cheese. The Swiss pay the French in gold, it is all hush hush and under the cafe table so to speak. |
