I know better . Well at least some part of me does.
I do not remember if its the stock I bought at 3.80 that I wrote off , or the stock I bought at 1.50. But My ass is in the fire if I am holding the more expensive stuff. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
This deal at 2 bits sucks big time . But there may be an upside.
(1) we get a more liquid stock.
(2) One or two big boys ,with the means ,takes out a majority of the block and starts to move tthe damn thing.
(3) One of the slime ball broker houses (The ones who do not want us to have market depth ) gets a vested interest in this puppy. Funny thing is once in , many broker houses , start to do their own homework and promo . More interest leads to more usage and the stock gets legs of its own . Despite the vested interest of the brokerage, the stock is able to stand on its own.
(4) Tony may know what he is doing . For all we know this is a done deal. If this is the case we will know soon enough.
(5)Watch for Tony to pick up a block of shares in this deal. If this happens it would indicate why he sold the old stock in the last month or so. This type of share swapping is common- sell your old shares at one price and get back in at a lower level .If he does not pick up any I would be worried.
(6) Once done it may pay to pick up some in the low 20 cent range as traders. Leave a core position and trade her every chance you get..
SWG- I missed it yesterday. I am not too sure about the quality of the company but I am sure about the TA. Yesterday was my buy signal when she started to flirt with the 3 buck range. I missed her though .Perhaps a shorter will squash her under 3 bucks and the margin calls will kick in, but on such low volume I am not sure if such a tatic would work.
MLR- CC is working her from both sides, lots of news. The news is not the meaty stuff though. I suspect a drilling project to be announced or a property deal and then a drilling announcement. Nothing fantastic here ,it is just the normal stuff we see that moves a stock. I am making this up of course. Maybe they found a big lump of gold in the middle of that boring old copper property. So far the peices are falling in place quite nicely.
FGX- sure took long enough for her to get bought out. I was hot on her in 96 but after a while I lost interest. Even after Claude pointed me in the right direction about the properties I was still reticent..
MNP- guess who tried to buy her at 7 cents this week ? I was looking for the last of the shares being dumped to get tossed on the bids. This happens quite often with the final bunch of shares when an account is getting cleaned out. Not this time.
