Toshiba rolls out Pentium II desktop, multimedia monitor By Margaret Kane, ZDNN ÿToshiba America Information Systems today announced a new desktop PC, the Equium 6260M, featuring a 266MHz Pentium II chip. The system is DMI 2.0 compliant and comes with Intel Corp.'s LANDesk Client Manager. Available now, the Equium 6260M starts at $2,799.Toshiba today also introduced a multimedia monitor with a 15.8-inch viewable screen, two 5-watt speakers, a headphone jack and integrated microphone. The TekBright 700PM, which is also available now, is street priced at $749. Toshiba is headquartered in Irvine, Calif.
