Take a look at the Dow high for 7/19/01. The Dow has to clear that whole level from July & Aug. of last year. It might not. The transportation index is not confirming today's rally at all. In fact, there's significant divergence.

An interesting thought about it no longer being a bear market. No offense taken. You really could be right. With complacency so high, though, I have my doubts. It's just too soon to say, in my opinion. I think there's the possibility that there could be another crash that would retest the September lows. What I think is irrelevant, of course (and I mean that). But I don't think I'm the only one suffering from this particular delusion.
