Well, I think you have loaded things a tad too much. The agitation caused by such a proposal to "nuke 'em all" may cause an allowance to be made in that instance. However, such a direct allusion to a position she has put forth is, indeed, to or about her, and is a violation. The "nuke" comment cannot be used as a precedent for engaging her arguments. The only way I can see that you could refer to something she may have opined is if it is a commonplace of such discussions, or the point can be found elsewhere, for example, on the op- ed page, so that the allusion was indirect......
