Nobody's going to award them $1B in cash or even close. As for Java being bundled, I guess that's what they're hoping for in the settlement. I guess if they win, what it would establish is that a lot of other software companies can also demand to have things bundled (even if they have to do it through case-by-case litigation), and they get a de-facto implementation of part of the remedy the DOJ caved on.
