I don't think the Palestinians really want peace, frankly. Or, I should clarify, I'm sure many of then do, but I think there is a large enough (and well enough armed) contingent that is still committed to the total destruction of Israel that I'm not sure peace is possible on any terms short of the world finding a whole new area for either the Palestinians or the Israelis, and shipping them there en masse. Central Australia, perhaps? It's served in a similar capacity in the past. That might be far enough apart to assure peace. I'm frankly not sure anything else would be.
