OT-outhouse-culture is important, both for armies, UN-soldiers, cholera and just having a silent moment, hopefully with a good view, and for regular recycling.
Finnish UN soldiers are known for their abilities in terms of building outhouses, for themselves and for the locals (however, I doubt their traditional skills when in some sandy desert, I hope they consult the locals for advise)

Btw, in the 16-1700s it was not considered polite to adress, not even very politely, somebody sitting down beside the road.(that was before cars and even before Napoleon made a point on who could ride a horse on what side of the road)
Important stuff on the way to the local market.
Btw,btw, does regular canadian outhouses have 1,2 or 3 seats?? If more than two, what are the standardized, traditional diameters?? (low temperatures might influence how and when the little walk is done, kids or elderly and regular responsible adults)
Tried to find a link to this historical document, book, on the architecture of finnish outhouses through times, but no luck.
Btw,btw, btw, that now published book was more about how people connect using the hopefully daily habit, not focusing just on the place of relief and recycling. |
