Really, thought the K6-3 just ran out of gas, wouldn't scale, lousey yields and gave way to the Athlon... Well apologies if I've got the wrong guy but I thought it was you. Someone claimed around October of that year that the reason the K6-3 was late was because AMD didn't want to confuse the market so close to Christmas. It became the standing joke. Sorry if it wasn't you. EP
