William Shirer, author of the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, the Berlin Diaries and other books was a correspondent in germany from 1926 to the end of 1941. He reported over and over that there were death camps, yes for all peoples, but most specifically for Jews, assimilated or not. He was a witness, who recorded it in his diaries, spoke to his friends and U.S. officials about what was going on. When he was leaving Europe via Lisbon, he wrote about the desparate Jewish people trying somehow to get off the continent. My parents in the towns they each lived saw Jews loaded onto cattle cars, never to be seen again. Friends of the family gone forever. The same for my brother-in-law's mother who hid jews in her house in holland. All the rest, who couldn't find a place to hide, carted off to oblivion. You are an utter fool to speak the way you do. I despise you.
