When NYC goes under we simply rename it "Atlantis". Disney will design undersea vehicles with large windows so tourists can have a look-see. It will be hugely popular and some people will make a lot of money.

As for the submerging of DC, reaction will be mixed.

Think of the white-hot economies that will develop on the "new" seashore wherever that may be. Lot more upside to this scenario than the cataclysmic Y2K, don't you think?
