I looked at the rest of the holdings in the FFTYX fund and am not buying. It looks like the only reason the gold stocks are part of the top ten holdings is because of the run they have had. You can look at his holdings at the Fidelity site and certainly is heavy on drillers, gassers, and oil, but he has other stuff that is not very interesting. Personally think the Safe Harbor fund from Prudent Bear is more interesting. This guy closely tracks the S&P over time.
