I hope everyone watched the UConn victory over Pittsburgh in the Big East Championships-- in double overtime. UConn had tons of time to take last shot of regulation, but despite a flurry of attempts blew it. Same deal at the end of the first overtime, but this time they couldn't get off a shot; instead with 1.7 left Pitt got a tie-up and possession. They bring back their injured star who, on one leg, heaves a shot from beyond half court that hits the rim and bounces away. In the second OT with about 35 seconds to go, UConn's Taliek Brown takes a desperation 30-footer as the shot-clock buzzer sounds -- and drains it -- to give the Huskies a 5 point lead they wouldn't relinquish. - Jeff
