What I think is going on with the MSFT lawsuit is that Sun Microsystems wants to get a look see at the source code of Windows XP. The Source code allows Sun to get on every desktop in the world. At least in places that they have never been. This is what the desired outcome is IMHO. Then Sun will be re-sellers of Microsoft. The money is a sideshow. I doubt that they will ever get a penny from a suit.
