Yeah I know. But Textron is a cyclical company. The time to buy them is when they are laying off left and right. I knew there was no way they were going under. And no one was looking at them when they were buying up the auto stocks, the financials, the defense plays. Ironically, my mom was the biggest naysayer. She retired from there years ago. I told her maybe she should think about buying a few shares at 32 for the dividend yield and probable appreciation a year down the road and stop whining that her CDs weren't paying a thing. But she couldn't see past the lay offs and see that it would help their earnings. The one thing I knew was that this wasn't unusual for the company and they always come back, especially given that they are a diversified cyclical company. I didn't expect this big of a move in less than 6 months though. TA
