Addi, From some of your previous posts, you seem to be, originally, from the world of Islam, and I feel confident in taking your word for the happenings in that area of the world, but since I was born, and raised, in the US, it is very difficult to imagine the horrors certain aspects of life in that corner of the world. I do thank God that I was born in a nation that is as close to a democracy that there is in the world every day of my life.
One of the odd things is, that a man that considers himself macho in this country would be more inclined to stand his ground and fight for his principles, than run and hide like Amein does. Maybe, it is just that Amein must hide from the truth, because there is no weapon that is effective against the truth. In the final analysis, the truth will win out. The problem is, that we will suffer a great deal until that "final analysis" comes into being. |
