QUALCOMM's products [copied from Coming Into Buy Range]:

John, 100 million devices per year to Europe x $200 x 7% = $1.4 billion per year
That's a 90% profit line = $1.2 billion per year
Add the ASICs at $20 each and only 50% profit = $1 billion per year.

So, with just the ASICs and device royalties for 100 million devices from China with 800 million shares [more options to be issued]
= $3 per share profit

With a P:E of 20, that's worth $60 a share [when the sales are going at that rate in a few years, so do some discounting - but not too much with interest rates as low as they are].

Then, add on:

Sales of ASICs inside China [1 billion people buying ASICs but paying not much royalty].
Sales of ASICs to the other 4 billion people not in Europe or China.
Royalties from licensees who get the ASIC customers QUALCOMM doesn't.
Royalties from Korean and other subscriber device licensees.
Infrastructure royalties.
Eudora sales and advertizing revenue.
gpsOne and SnapTrack sales.
