I don't think there is any hope of mediating a solution. Poet would like CH not to post to her. It is a free country and CH does not wish to oblige her. The moderated threads may be her only solution to this intractable problem, if the ignore button is not good enough. I do not wish to be in the ludicrous position of moderating a problem that I believe should never have risen to the present level of attention, and is very silly. I do not wish to play Thread Mater to JLA's Pater. I have expressed my distaste for what I see as the greater problem of group nastiness on SI. Having expressed that view I feel I've done my part. You may have the last word, I'm done. As long as you don't go saying I'm friends with people I'm not friends with. Silence on matters you do not understand is probably better than trying to manufacture facts.
