Ray, Clintonistas should know about idolatry. They overlooked every transgression so they could continue to worship at Slick's altar.

Bush talks about "my justice department" simply because he's responsible for it and he's the one who will take the heat if it fails to do the job. Bush is cut from whole cloth. He and his father are common folk at the core. Indeed, Elder Bush in his retirement has time to write about the ethics of bird hunting. He tells of a Gucci-shod elitist who came to protest his quail hunting, and managed to suppress "flip[ping] him a bird of a different feather" (his words) out of respect for his office as President of the United States. Now that's my kind of President. Except that he should have gone ahead and flipped.

If by "institutions of this nation" you mean the Constitution and the institutions it created, then your faith is well-placed. However, you will have to find a leader worthy of them. Don't hold your breath until you find one on the Democratic side.
