It's certainly looking as though we've not seen the end of the downdraft's effects, yet. Not until the piano player, the bartender, the fat lady and the last of the porters are tossed into the street through the swinging doors. Til then, no one is safe.

One by one, as the shenanigans are exposed, like peeling the skins of an onion, we're sure to see more of the same. It appears that among the RBOCs Q is going down first for their long haul fiber debt, and all that that connotes. It's no wonder, then, that VZ's CEO stated that they don't need to acquire a fiber long haul carrier, as long as they can rent capacity on someone else's.
