Ted, I'll bet 9/11 killed about 3,000 more people than Indecision 2000 did.

The analogy wasn't about killing.......it was about the impact that the two events had on two different aspects of our culture. In that way, I think its an apt analogy.

I'll also bet that those responsible for 9/11 are willing to kill millions more than those responsible for supposedly "stealing" the 2000 election. I'm sorry, but those who are still bitter over Indecision 2000 really ought to get over it.

There are people on this thread who can't let go of their feelings re Clinton but you want people to let go of election, 2000. Remember the popular vote was in favor of Gore. Many believe that the antics in FL gave Bush the electoral college. You are asking people to forget a lot.

At least they'll have another chance in 2004. Then again, judging from Bush's soaring approval ratings, along with the recovering economy and the fall of the Taliban, maybe they don't stand a chance after all.

I like that attitude......its believing you can't be defeated that often leads to defeat.

<He already lives there.>

He ought to consider moving out.

If everyone who disagreed with your views moved out of the country, there no longer would be a population problem. ;~))

And I suspect he loves this country as much as you do. Besides, we are each entitled to our own opinions.
