Check this story out Unclewest... Something tells me that some unit commanders need to have their "head space and timing" adjusted:

story.news.yahoo.com

The soldiers were unprepared for the subfreezing temperatures at 10,000 feet — some said they hadn't even brought sleeping bags. They spoke of staying awake at night and sleeping by day when it was warmer.

There were cases of hypothermia, they said, and drinking water froze in the cold.

This, the apparent lack of Spectre gunship support (where are they?), leaving their 81mm tubes behind, and not being prepared for the temperatures found at that height, tell me that some folks just got "reality slapped", and discovered the PPPPPP factor..

Hackworth is going to have a field day with this topic.
