Liar Dan - Re: "Get some perspective, learn how to read, and try to pretend you're a human being. "

Oh I am a human being - but you are a COMPULSIVE LIAR .

And you know it and everybody else knows it.

Still think MAD is going to be selling 25 Million Hamsters per quarter early next year?

Re: Your various posts on the Mod AMD thread tonight
Do you realize what a critical period Intel is approaching? More that 100% of CPU unit growth is taking place in Asia (as sales in North America and Europe decrease) and VIA is absorbing most of that growth. Intel walked away from the well accepted, inexpensive, widely available socket 370 market it spent years developing - and VIA is reaping the benefits of all that effort.

Meanwhile AMD now has the Gresham FAB - designed for 300mm, copper, and sub .13 - to back up Dresden if it needs it. AMD could be producing 25 million 64 bit hammers per quarter by early 2003. Intel could find itself relegated to less than 50% of the CPU market as early as then.

Intel could execute flawlessly with its IA-64 strategy and find itself stuck with a white elephant as its customer base stays with software that is consistent and compatible.
