TW: A six-month move is nothing to sneeze at, even if you believe the market is still in a bear and will eventually make new lows. You have to be able recognize these moves early and willing to take the plunge. An early entry provides the cushion needed to help weather the inevitable oscillations for position traders. Or, you have to trade the intraday to ST wiggles aggressively. Personally, I like to do both!

Waiting until you are absolutely sure the trend has changed from a bear to a bull is not a good strategy unless of course you are contemplating whether to commit conservative retail portfolios or retirement portfolios.

Anyone that claims to be a trader (day, swing or position) should have found at least one mount to advantage this rally that started in Sept01. Waiting until you get a confirmation that the LT downtrend line is broken is just playing into the hands of them that hold the price stamp.

Whether this is just a dynamic counter trend rally or the beginning of a new bull trend, does not really matter, the boyz don't want folks doing anything more than standing on the side of the pool arguing about how cold the water is and doing only the occasional foot wading to test the temperature. Once the scoundrels are ready for folks to jump in, they will drop the lure in the water and when folks jump in and bite, the hook will be set.

So it shall be written, so it shall be done...<g>

EDIT: I am expecting the bears to be fed some this week!

Regards,
LG
