You utterly missed the Clinton-fed press distortions, which stressed the sex rather than the more complicated legal issues that require getting beyond the sex. The press ate it up like pablum, failing to get to the "real story." It would be like Woodward and Bernstein never getting beyond the Watergate break-in. They would have ignored the coverup. The very fact that there are ill-informed people like you who continue to believe that it was merely about sex, rather than Clinton's illegal (under federal law) sexual harassment of an employee (Paula Jones) and his perjury and obstruction of justice to cover it up, show that the media didn't gave Clinton a "pass" on the issues that mattered, the serious legal issues.
