Powell better get his act together and quit thinking for himself or he is going to be on his way out like the guy who wrote the evil axis line and stole Dubya's thunder when it became public that Dubya didn't make that up himself. I know Powell is one of Juniors top tokens and how badly Dubya needs him but he can't be allowed to be out there in public telling the truth and giving his own opinions about things.

I wonder what Powell thought when he had to back track on the condom issue? Where does he get off telling people that abstinence won't work. Everyone knows that all the public has to do to stop aids and unwanted pregnancies is to stop having sex. It's as simple as that and Dubya and Ashcroft believe it will work. It's the kind of thing where he can say that if they had listened to him they wouldn't be pregnant or dying of aids, so he can't be wrong.
