Posted on this thread what seems like a long time ago, kept checking and never did get any responses. Was quite suprised today when searching thru VSE for info on GSS that this thread was actually still going.

I got into GSS when they first announced there accidental find in Cross Lake in 1992 (I think). At the time, the rare minerals announced got my interest peaked and I bought in on speculation. I have held on to the stock even though it hit a peak during the summer of '92 of over $5 (which I missed anyway cause I wasn't able to follow close enough at the time). However, when I bought in, I had plans of at least a 5 year wait to see what transpired - as I believed (and still do) that this one will eventually take off. There was some initial problems with their 50% partner - Cross Lake Band - over ownership rights which seemed to stall progress for about a year or so. As far as I know now, the Cross Lake Band is the only partner of GSS - holding a 50% interest to the claim.

A news release was made at the end of last week regarding the outcome of the initial drill results as well as production technique. I will bring it to work with me tomorrow night and try to post it on the forum for those of you interested.

Will try to follow this one a little closer now that there is some interest.
