when the kids get home from the school and try and kill each other gaming on the cable nodes, it can slow things down. Roadrunner, at least, has been pretty good about adding capacity as they added subscribers. A lot of @Home systems may have suffered under the problems of that company, but with the individual companies building out their own cable modem systems, that should improve big time real fast. larry
