OT - Frozen Chosin trivia The original is actually a reference to a Korean War battle, when the Chinese entered the war in a massive winter offensive. The Marines fought a rearguard action along a single road leading to the Chosin Reservoir, enduring blizzard conditions along the way. Although the action was tactically a withdrawal, the Marines demonstrated their characteristic tenacity, courage, and selflessness, and kept the action from becoming a rout. Any survivor of that fight has much to take pride in. - Mitch
