Actually DIVX disks that are burned are just VCD's (when done properly). They can be played in almost any DVD player. The files can be burned to CD using a program such as Nero 5.5 or above. Personally, I don't bother; of my two DVD players: the Sony will not play any CDR's and my other unit is a reference player (Proceed) which is finicky with such disks (you'd think for $10 grand it would make coffee and toast!). At least 80 percent of DVD players that are out there will have no problem.
