VCAR laid off 48 of its 78 employees on Friday and stated it needs more money to continue building the M12. The layoff's are reported to be part of a plan to reduce costs and make it more effecient to build the 492-horsepower M12, only six of which have been made this year. Earlier this year production estimates for 1996 were dropped from 96 to 30 and now to 18. I wonder how much more money they need to contiue production and presumably stay in business? DS
