I am considering starting a new vegetable rights organization - People for the Ethical Treatment of Vegetables (PETV).

It will be founded on the notion that vegetables have feelings, too, but are just slower in expressing them (they wilt).

A fundamental tenet will be that vegetables should be hugged, not eaten. People should only eat animals.

And if anyone disagrees with us, we will, of course, firebomb their houses, because vegetable rights reign supreme!!!
