No dispute over your numbers there, none worthy anyway...so if you thought at all about the reality of the tariffs altered between Mexico and the U.S.(assuming tariffs were decreased on both sides as planned, by and large), then you know that without NAFTA the situation would be worse. Without NAFTA, MEXICAN tariffs on American goods would be much higher(making your complaint worse), and American Tariffs on Mexican goods would be relatively much LOWER(also making the deficit worse). I really never saw what's to argue with...it's black and white, unless you think that raised mexican tariffs on incoming American goods would increase our exports to Mexico(obviously not!). All parties recognized the direction things were going before NAFTA was passed, that is why it was such a hot issue. The point remains in black and white, without NAFTA, your numbers would necessarily be worse.

You have lots of traditional ammo, but nothing to refute the basic economic facts of life that govern the good freedom does, by nature.
