so what? what made our country the greatest power the world has ever seen was not the wanton spending habits of materialistic, self-indulgent consumers. it was our ability to produce.

unfortunately regulation is a necessary evil with capitalism. man is too selfish and immoral to regulate it himself. witness enron. obviously the founders and all the people who voted to ratify the constitution agree that it's necessary for congress to decide on matters of foreign trade. otherwise article I section 8 of the constitution would not have said, "The Congress shall have power to... regulate commerce with foreign nations,"

prisons in california are a growth industry for illegal immigrants. illegal immigrants make up 15% of all prisoners in california. mexico should start by incarcerating their own criminals so we don't have to.
