Hi Twilko,

You make some important distinctions. Certainly, as you say, committing suicide doesn't give one 'warrior' status. And one doesn't even need to die in battle to be considered a good warrior.

But i wouldn't call what the enemy did 'suicide' either. To me, what they did was forfeit their lives to commit mass murder on innocent non-combatants. It seems to be something more than just 'suicide'. That doesn't make them cowards. Just like bombing the enemy from the sky doesn't mean that those doing the bombing are cowards, as some people have implied.

Those that bombed the WTC are neither cowards, nor warriors (but the word 'slime' seems to fit). They are simply our mortal enemies. They have proven that they will go to any lengths to kill innocent non-combatants. As such, they deserve no quarter. We need not explain ourselves to anyone for trying to kill them wherever we find them.

We are not trying to kill them because we hate them…. We are trying to kill them because they are trying to kill us. To stop trying to kill them would be to stop trying to defend ourselves. Self-defense is moral. Every living thing attempts to defend itself when attacked. In this case, self-defense embodies offensive action. They have given us no choice but to kill them.

BTW, i know that you haven't said most of what i implied that you said. 'Coward' and 'warrior' just got me on a rant. I agree with the spirit of what you said….i just think that 'slime' is a better word for them than 'coward' or 'warrior'.
