What people always seem to forget about economics is that an economy is made up of people .Those people are a constant variable in all economic predictions and policy.
What policies apply today do not nessicarily apply yesterday or tomorrow.
Democracies pose particular problems to economic policy making, in that voters tend to demand things that in the long run may be against their best interests.
