Actually MBTrading is only charging .005/shares for INCA. I think TerraNova is .0075/share. Mind you they clear through Instinet so they probably have a deal.

I didn't know INCA had come down so far in pricing. Actually, it's interesting to see that ProTrader is charging 0.007 per share for INCA trades, and they are owned by Instinet! protrader.com

I think IB and the prop firms with 1 cent/share flat rates are really putting the squeeze on the whole idea of charging ECN fees.

Does IB fill most orders in house, when clients use their routing system? Or, do they route to the MM's/ECN's at the inside bid/offer and eat any ECN fees that are incurred? I just assumed that they passed along ECN fees generated, but I guess this is not the case. In any event, per share folks like IB are the wave of the future, in terms of market share. Now... if they could only build in some nice charting...
