OT: need advice on buying medical insurance for parents

need some advice.. i have choice of buying medical insurance for my parents via online (ehealthinsurance.com) or through a insurance broker.

obviously, broker is going to charge some commission.

my question is: in case of health emergency, does the broker help us in any way with the insurance coverage issues that require emergency response, etc? Or there is no "value-added" difference in terms of medical situations and questions.

ehealthinsurance.com has their own helpful staff to help out with "normal" billing issues, but im talking about emergency situations where we may need assistance.

please advise.
