rosemary, abti has one of the best rtn out there in terms of covered call writing or just writing call for that matter. the in the money 7 and 1/2 19.6% over 6wks at one pt. i have written 20 contract of the aug 10 and 10 more of the aug 12.5. obviously i am anticipating good rpts on or around there earning date (a concidence or planned?). at any rate you have good downside protection by buying now and selling in the money 7 1/2. but you have to take the chance of another lipo. also on the downside is continued sell by someone. tc2000, smart stocks, and internet trader all indicate selling so you do have risk. that said i will propably buy today or the next few days of the a chance at the option premium. i think you will be happy with covered call writing dicipline. gw
