If I were going to get some health insurance now on my own I would probably check with blue cross/blue shield first.

They are pretty common and pretty accepted thoughout the midwest here. I'm not sure what you are looking for in insurance coverage but you can always check the policy before you buy. Everything varies. I'm pretty sure you can set your limits also; the bc/bs rep probably can help you. See if you can get help before they just send a info. packet out too you <g>.

I never thought about getting it online before; maybe that would be the way to go. But I would think if you are looking for coverage and reliability on that coverage a well known policy with good well spelled out coverage will probably suit you best.
