To me, it's not about terrorism as the end game, although that is high on the list. Terrorism is just a vehicle to their ends. I believe the root cause is nothing more, nothing less than Islam itself. It is a bad religion that must be either eliminated entirely or modified completely. They are NOT going to do this themselves. That leaves the rest of the world with only one alternative. We are going to have to do it for them. That means military action. 1000 years ago it didn't matter that much because the planet wasn't as populated and there was a lot of free space for people to go and start new countries, new governments, get away from problems. That is no longer the case. They are unyielding to the core of their beliefs, that leaves no room for compromise or assimilation. Their attitude is their way or no way. If people take a good look at what they are all about, they will see it. There's no point in hiding our heads in the sand about it, they are not going away, they will never quit their goal of one world religion unless we make them away.
