I will agree but that is not a Lucent specific issue. It's an industry wide issue. SO the main thing will be who will be left standing (cause no we are all not going to go to using smoke signals and string in cups to communicate). From all of those, Lucent has been the only one with sequential growth this Q and they reiterate that this will still be the case. Nortel, CIEN and the rest IMO will suffer a lot more than Lucent will. Nortel does not even have products out the door and is already in violation on covenants. However I agree with you that the capex slide has got to stop before we could be talking about real growth in the industry. When that happens I don't think anyone knows yet (including the carrier CEOs). Do you?
