SL - I wouldn't have epxected INTC or MSFT to say anything more than they have been saying.

As for NOK that is one issue that you need to understand the technology change that is currently going on. NOK is the world leader in GSM standard phones.

I am not goign to bore you with the details but if you take a look a the QCOM buying range thread you will soon get the idea and it is going to be great fun for all of us. It is also American.

NOK also has another problem in that the Koreans and now the Chinese are eating thier lunch and all the protectionism that the EU can put up will not stop the two Asian powerhouses from moving in on the block and taking over.

Believe me the Koreans and the Chinese can both make handsets far cheaper than the Finns.

As for whether there is or is not a recovery I would believe Mr G. I believed him in April May 2000 as many of my posts will show and I believe him now.

Best,

L
