LOL, even better. So are those - for example, Senators - who demonstrate all three lacking in brains, refusing to use them or merely ignorant...?

There are certainly educated and (reportedly) intelligent leftists who demonstrate the same intolerance and lack of realism, though it may just be naivety: the perennial student Marxists, for example, and similar. Jingoism seems rarer.
