I not chasing anything. I am saying that the steel plants are a vital industry. We need them. You cannot build tanks without them. We can't depend on other countries to support us. One day they are an ally, the next with a change of leadership they might not be.

You can look for any reason you want to make you feel good about it all, but the underlying question is how important to our country's defenses is having a steel industry? I think it's very important.

My point of view ends up with no apologies if we need it when the time comes, as it will, it always does.

The let them wither on the vine side...well if we need them and they aren't there, and our supposed allies stab us in the back, and cut us off..I guess they'll find out then how important it was to keep the industry alive.
