That contradicts their March roadmap where they only have a 2.8 GHz P4 targeted for Q4. So does that mean that 3.1 GHz will be available before year's end or is this just a misunderstanding of what Mike Splinter said (e.g. shipping vs. availability)? I don't have the answer to that but it sounds like they are pulling things in. People here will interpret that to mean it's because they have to but I see it as it's because they can. Intel's .13u process is very very healthy. EP
