I would like to thank you and Dean for posting your information on the AMTX conf. I would like to discuss GTE further. It seems GTE to going towards the DMT camp in the long term. AMTX and Westell both will use the MOT CG solution at some future date. The question is... "how long must GTE trial/test the new MOT solution?". If GTE announces deployments starting in mid to late 1998, then I will assume it will be a MOT CG deployment. If GTE wants initial deployment by the end of 1997, then this will have to be a Westell RADSL CAP solution, with a AMTX/LSI solution. At this time 'I think' the AMTX/LSI solution still has those 3 issues cost/size/power. I'm not aware of any problems with the Westell 2Mbps RADSL CAP solution. The Westell solution uses 7.5watts with distances > 16,000ft... until later
