Most of the brokers(especially TDW) they don't do DRIP. For example: if you wanted DRIP for VKR.UN, you have to buy at least 1 share or withdraw 1 share from your TDW account, and send the share certificate to the transfer agent, usually you have to fill all kind of documents first(you can get it from the transfer agent) and open a new account with your 1 share. Afterward, you can buy whatever on a monthly or Q basis. Some of the DRIP sell you stock @ a discount, but you can not place a limited order. For example: if you put in 1000 for VKR @ $7, you will buy 142.85 shares and this 142.85 generated dividend and reinvest next month to buy more shares.
